5.1.1 In this activity, myself and jaci built a layer of dermis and epidermis for our maniken. We also built a block that resembles a unit of skin. As you can see it is labeled. Also in this activity, we examined a skein cell under a microscope: which you can see the different parts in.
5.2.1 . Here kynsley and me dissected a bone of a cow.(Which is very similar to that of a human). We examined the anatomy of the bone and labeled it.
5.2.3 In this activity, my group looked at the role calcium plays in the skeletal system; a major one. That is why the regulation of this substance in the body is very important for the human body.
5.3.1. In this activity we mapped the lymphatc system on our models and then on paper. The lymphatic system is so important in protecting the body from diseases, viruses, etc..
5.3.2 Today, in LSA, we looked into and learned about vlood types. But first, we visited the blood bank at the local hospital learning about blood typing and the importance of blood. We created this pedigree to exam the importance of a person getting the correct types of blood in a blood transfusion.
5.3.3. In this activity, our class found out how the body reacts to a virus or common cold. We created a flow chart to show the steps the body takes in getting rid of this cold and presenting us from getting it again.
